Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Farasha grew up in Hong Kong; she also spent several years living in Malaysia and Indonesia, before moving to the UK. She is fluent in several regional languages.
Farasha is keen to engage with SOAS alumni and prospective students in Bangladesh (or across the world!) and share experiences of life at SOAS and offer advice on career prospects and opportunities for graduates.
She hopes to make an impact in political policymaking, international development, and communications through practical conversion and application of her academic and professional competencies in the field of politics and development.
