Torge, MSc Development Studies 2015

Torge completed his MSc in Development Studies (2014-15) from SOAS, with a special focus on the developments in the MENA region and economic migration.

He is currently based in Honduras and works as advisor for climate change at the German technical development agency (GIZ).

Torge has subsequently worked for three years with GIZ in Egypt and two years for a private company within the German regulatory energy framework.

Torge is keen to engage with SOAS alumni or prospective students in Central America and especially Honduras. It is always great to meet open-minded and curious thinkers as well as share common experiences of life at SOAS.

His fields of interest particularly include global energy and climate policy as well as sustainable economic development.
