Module overview

Your Dissertation involves desk based and/or field-based research.

You will submit a topic form, which is unassessed, that describes in up to 500 words the core idea for your Dissertation research. Supervisors are then allocated to each student according to the fit between their expertise and the research idea. Your Dissertation is assessed through two submissions. The first is an assessed proposal which sets out the research plan in more detail and is 20% of the final module mark. You then submit a 10,000 word Dissertation that counts for 80% of your final module mark.
