HELP University Articulation Agreement for SOAS LLB
SOAS offers direct entry into Year 2 of the SOAS LLB (Bachelor of Law) programme to students of HELP University (Malaysia) who have successfully completed 1-year of study at HELP.
Students from HELP University who are on this programme are also eligible to receive a dedicated scholarship to support tuition costs while at SOAS. Students participating on this programme will then be eligible to graduate with a SOAS LLB degree after Year 3.
Commencing with the 2020/21 academic year, the SOAS-HELP articulation programme is open to first year students on the HELP LLB programme who wish to complete their LLB at SOAS. After completing the SOAS LLB, students who wish to become practising lawyers will only have to read for either the UK Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) to gain admission into the English Bar, or pursue the Malaysian Legal Profession’s Qualifying Board’s Certificate in Legal Practice examination.

How to apply
Students who are interested in undertaking study at SOAS through the LLB Articulation programme should have achieved an average GPA of 3.0 of 4 or higher and should have achieve IELTS English-language proficiency scores of 6.5 or higher overall (with 6.5 in Writing and Speaking and 6.0 in Reading and Listening).
