SOAS - UIII Dual Degree Programme

UIII is a newly-established, private graduate institution, based in Depok, West Java. It offers academic programmes focusing on the study of Islam and the Muslim world, and currently has four faculties:  

  • Faculty of Islamic Studies
  • Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Economics and Business
  • Faculty of Education 

Dual Masters degree programme

The SOAS-UIII Dual Degree Programme provides postgraduate students with the opportunity to gain two separate Masters degrees from different universities in 2-years.  

Students can start their studies either with either UIII or SOAS: 

  • Students who enrol on an eligible 2-year Masters degree at UIII can apply to spend their second year at SOAS, choosing from a range of Masters programmes offered across SOAS’ three Colleges.  
  • Students who start an eligible 1-year MA/ MSc degree at SOAS can apply to spend a second year of study at UIII and earn a Masters in addition to their SOAS degree.
