The Curating Cultures MA programme at SOAS is delighted to present an exhibition of artworks and objects from the SOAS Teaching and Handling Collection at the Lady David Cases in the SOAS Library, curated by current students.

The Curating Cultures Module is a core module on the MA programme that offers a practice-based approach to developing curatorial skills including the interpretation and display of objects and collections care, informed by theoretical concerns and contemporary issues. While these exhibitions are the culmination of the module, it is the students’ exhibition portfolios and discussions of the curatorial learning experience that are assessed.
