Biography
Fatemeh Noorbakhsh is a PhD Student in Economics at SOAS – University of London.
Economics has been her compass in life, guiding her through a fascinating journey of learning and contributing to the world of finance. She started her academic journey right at home, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Iran Tehran. Yearning for a broader perspective, she took on the challenge of pursuing a Master of Science in Economics at City University. Currently, she is occupied in the vibrant academic environment at SOAS University, where she is diving deep into her Ph.D. studies.
Her professional journey has been just as dynamic. She started off as an Accountant Assistant and an Economy Teacher at an educational complex back in Iran. Then came a pivotal chapter when she joined the Monetary and Banking Research Institute of the Central Bank of Iran. She also have an experience as Research and Development Director at Dara Company, a start-up in Iran, she channelled her economic skills into practical, innovative solutions. It was an exhilarating experience, blending theory with real-world impact.
