The Middle East and North Africa region is at the heart of policy debate on climate change and energy transition, and is witnessing growing innovation and interest in sustainability. The SMEI’s research and dialogues aim to support positive transformations in this regard in collaboration with experts and organizations from diverse backgrounds.

The SMEI is a member of the International Advisory Board of Think 28 (T28), an official research and policy advisory platform for the global climate change conference COP28.
