Biography

Mr Kozul-Wright worked at the United Nations in both New York and Geneva for over 30 years and was Director of the Globalisation and Development Strategies Division in UNCTAD where he was responsible for the annual Trade and Development Report

He holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Cambridge UK. 

He has published widely on economic issues including, inter alia, in the Economic Journal, the Cambridge Journal of Economics, The Journal of Development Studies, the Oxford Review of Economic Policy and the European Journal of Development Research. His books include (as a co-editor) The Oxford Handbook on Industrial Policy (Oxford University Press); (with Kevin Gallagher) The Case For a New Bretton Woods (Polity Press) and (with Paul Rayment) The Resistible Rise of Market Fundamentalism (Zed Press).

Mr. Kozul-Wright is a frequent contributor of opinion on economic issues: including in the Financial Times, The Guardian, Le Monde, El País, Project Syndicate, among others.
