p
h
y
Joined the Department of Economics at SOAS in 1990 as one of the founding members of the department.
He was Professor of Development Economics at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague, 2003-05, and Adjunct Professor of Economics, Department of Agricultural Economics, Purdue University, 2007-09. He is the founding member and the PI of the ‘Female employment and Dynamics of inequality’ network at SOAS.
He is a Research Fellow of the Economic Research Forum (ERF) and a member of the Board of Directors of the femise network.
