Biography
Dr Julia Stolyar holds a doctorate from SOAS, University of London, and is currently a Teaching Fellow there.
Her PhD explored representations of national identities on television in South Korea and Japan and the role television plays in formulating, negotiating, and constructing those identities for local and international audiences. She has been working in both formal and informal education for the past 15 years across ages and topics.
Her interests include media and media literacy, television and film and education.
