Biography
Following undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Social Anthropology and African Studies at SOAS, Adam is currently studying part-time for an MPhil/PhD in Anthropology at SOAS, exploring the impact of gentrification on the religious practices of the Yoruba diaspora in south east London (ESRC funded).
He also teaches Swahili at SOAS in the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Prior to this, Adam taught Swahili at the University of Edinburgh.

Research interests
African diasporas in London, Yoruba Language, Swahili language, popular culture (film, music, literature etc.) in Swahili and Yoruba Languages.
