Biography
Adria Rius is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the SOAS Department of Economics.
Before starting his PhD, he worked as an Economist and ODI Fellow for the Somaliland Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, and as Researcher and Policy Analyst at the ILO Green Jobs Programme. Adria has also worked as research and teaching assistant at UCL and at the University of Barcelona.
He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Barcelona and an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS. As part of his BSc, he also studied at the Vrije Unviersiteit Amsterdam. He conducted the first year of his PhD at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose.
Adria’s PhD research is funded by UKRI under the ESRC programme (UBEL-DTP).
