Biography
Ayse Zeynep Nayir pursued a dual BSc degree in Mathematics and Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
After completing her bachelor's degree, she embarked on her master's journey at the University of Birmingham. She obtained an MSc in Economics. As a teaching assistant at the University of Birmingham, I taught undergraduate courses in Microeconomics and Game Theory.
Driven by a deep interest in the Middle East, she pursued a second master's degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, specialising in Economics with a reference to the Middle East. Building upon her master's studies, she continued my academic journey at SOAS, pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics. Her doctoral research focused on the intersection of gender, religion, social inequalities and poverty alleviation.
