y
Damon is a PhD Student in Economics at SOAS - University of London.
He is interested in topics related to development, macroeconomics, trade, and innovation with a focus on the intersections of those fields with industrial policy and climate finance. His dissertation research focuses on the effects of macroeconomic policy on green industrialisation in developing economies.
He is also interested in the economic history of industrialisation; largely in the East Asian context but also in the UK and across the Global South.
