Biography

Daryn is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Development Studies with over 8 years of experience conducting research throughout the Middle East Region in academia, think tanks and international organizations. Her research looks at the political economy of labour migration in the Middle east, with a particular focus on the dynamics of race, gender, citizenship and class formation. She holds a BA in Political Science and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and a MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University of Beirut.
