Biography
Eric is a first year student in the Centre for Gender Studies and from Seattle. He holds an MA in Refugee Care (Essex), BA in Spanish Literature and a BA in Economics and Business (Westmont College). Eric worked in East Asia with refugees where he participated in refugee-led psychosocial wellness groups for men and families. Prior to that, he spent time in Sierra Leone and Bolivia working with local microfinance institutions interviewing community members and collaborating on training programs with local staff. Early in his career Eric was part of a research team in Bolivia studying financial saving habits of newly monetized populations, and he also taught microenterprise classes at a technical high school in Ecuador.
