In this talk, Loida Nicolas Lewis gives an inspiring story of how, as a Filipino woman of colour, she worked her way to success as a lawyer, human rights activist, and the CEO of a U.S. billion-dollar empire. 

After the presentation, she will be in conversation with Candy Gourlay, UK-based best selling Filipino author, whose latest novel, "Wild Song," has been nominated for the Jhalak Prize, the Nero Book Awards and the Carnegie Medal.

  • Loida Nicolas Lewis is Chair and CEO of TC Beatrice, LLC, and Chair of The Reginald F. Lewis Foundation and author of "Why Should Guys Have All the Fun?".
