College of Humanities alumni event

Join us for an exciting evening celebrating the work of SOAS’s College of Humanities, which brings together the School of Arts, School of History, Religions and Philosophies, and the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. 

The event, hosted by Professor Graeme Earl, Dean of Humanities, will feature the latest news and research highlights from each department. You’ll hear short lectures from leading academics, including Professor Rachel Harris on preserving Uyghur culture in exile, Dr Romina Istratii on decolonial research practices, and Dr Xiaoning Lu on cinema in Mao’s China. 

The talks will be followed by a drinks reception, where you can engage in conversation with fellow alumni and staff.
