About this event

In this online event, the SOAS Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team (EDI) welcome Kym Oliver and Jumoke Abdullahi to discuss 'What is our responsibility to community health and disability justice?'

The event aims to shed light on our responsibility as individuals to support all members of our community and disability justice. The panel will delve into the harmful concept of ablenationalism, which prioritises able-bodied norms of inclusion as the standard requirement of access to citizenship, with a focus on the implications of this mindset from the COVID-19 pandemic to present day.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and perspectives. The event is open to staff, students and members of the public.
