Join us for a Special Briefing on the key findings of the African Youth Survey 2024, followed by a panel discussion and lively discussion.

As the fastest growing demographic globally, Africa’s youth is poised to account for over a third of the world's youth by 2050, understanding their aspirations, concerns, and attitudes is crucial for shaping both regional and global policies.

The African Youth Survey 2024, spearheaded by the Ichikowitz Family Foundation, has garnered significant global attention for its comprehensive insights into the perspectives of Africa's burgeoning youth population. Having interviewed more than 14,000 youth across 25 countries since 2020, the African Youth Survey offers a profound window into the minds of Africa's young generation, shedding light on their challenges, aspirations, and perceptions.

The Survey provides fresh insights on a wide range of issues including governance, international influences, democratic ambitions, digital connectivity, security, climate change, entrepreneurship and migration. As Africa's youth population continues to grow, their collective voice will play an increasingly pivotal role in shaping the continent's future and its interactions on the global stage.
