Biography
As a dedicated Museum Studies expert, I have spent over 15 years exploring niche topics in Anthropology, Digital Heritage, and Museum Studies from diverse perspectives.
My Erasmus Mundus Doctorate in Quaternary Archaeology and Prehistory from the Sorbonne Université- Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (France) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain) equipped me with a deep understanding of the field and interdisciplinary skills. Over the years, I have continued my professional development at recognised institutions such as the Natural History Museum in London, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and the University of Zurich.
I have curated exhibitions in museums, galleries, and cultural institutions, and my inside view of the sector has been instrumental in shaping my teaching and research. I aim to empower students and promote critical thinking through my creative, motivating, and innovative teaching methods. My goal is to inspire a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject. In my sessions, I encourage project collaboration and harness diverse perspectives to develop creative solutions.
As a member of recognised institutions such as the ICOM and the Society of American Archaeology (SIG Curatorship), I constantly strive to push the boundaries of what is possible in the field. My digital heritage, anthropology, and archaeology research have been showcased at international conferences, where I have also chaired and organised sessions. I am continually inspired by the power of museums to educate and inspire, and I am privileged to be able to contribute to this critical field.
