Copyright at SOAS
Copyright is an exclusive economic right granted to the creator of original work to permit or prevent other people from copying it.
This page contains guidance explaining how the CLA Higher Education Licence provides a range of permissions to allow you to make full use of the School's print and electronic collections to support teaching and learning at SOAS (both online and in the classroom). There is also guidance on the various exceptions to copyright and how these apply in terms of teaching, research and providing accessible copies for disabled people.
