Biography
Junya Hamaaki is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Hosei University.
He has conducted empirical research on the household behavior, such as intergenerational transfers, consumption and savings, and on households’ behavioral responses to changes in tax and social security systems. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tokyo.
Research interests
Empirical analysis of household consumption, savings, and intergenerational transfers in Japan.
