Appointment of Jeanne Stampe as Senior Fellow at the SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance

The SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeanne Stampe as a Senior Fellow. Between December 2011 and January 2020, Jeanne was Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia Sustainable Finance at WWF Asia. Jeanne created, led and successfully executed WWF’s Asia Sustainable Finance Programme and was part of the Global Finance Practice leadership team which developed WWF’s global sustainable finance strategy. Under her leadership, the Asia Sustainable Finance Initiative , the first multi-stakeholder sustainable finance platform in Asia, was launched in January 2019. Jeanne helmed significant capacity building efforts and developed online learning tools in sustainable finance across Asia. She also co-authored numerous publications and policy reports in the area of sustainable finance and responsible investment. Jeanne holds Bachelor (Hons) and Master degrees in Economics from the University of Cambridge. Jeanne has been collaborating with the SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance in a research project on “ Sovereign Risk and Climate Change ”, which is supported by the International Network for Sustainable Financial Policy Insights, Research, and Exchange (INSPIRE).
