Development Studies named 3rd globally in latest QS rankings
SOAS University of London ranks in the global top three universities for Development Studies, and in the top 20 for Politics and Anthropology, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024.
Eleven of SOAS’s subjects featured in the top 100 globally, with Arts and Humanities in the top quartile. Other subjects in the top 100, as categorised in the rankings, include Geography; Sociology; English Language and Literature; Modern Languages; Linguistics; Classic and Ancient History; History, and Theology, Divinity and Religious Studies.
The rankings, released today, compare the performance of around 15,000 individual university programmes at 1,500 universities and name the world’s best universities for the study of 54 academic disciplines.
