SOAS graduates among the most employable in the UK
SOAS University of London has been recognised as one of the leading institutions in the UK for producing 'employable' graduates.
The impressive ranking appears in the recently released QS World Rankings 2023, where the University was also recognised in the world's top 50 universities when it comes to attracting international talent.
The specialist institution has ranked 6th in the UK for employment outcomes - it's alumni boasts professionals such as:
- MA Middle Eastern studies alumna, Claudia Mendoza, CEO of the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC);BA Economics and Chinese alum Hussain Hilli entrepreneur and founder Skrap, an online marketplace for construction hire services and materials;
- BA African Studies and Development Studies alumna, Lavinya Stennett founder of the social enterprise, The Black Curriculum and;
- MSc International Politics and Diplomacy alum Angelo Eduardo Da Costa Mengowako who is one of the three founders of Vocal Communities, a London-based organisation helping disadvantaged communities.
- And finally, the award winning broadcaster and journalist and current SOAS President Zeinab Badawi, who studied Middle East History and Anthropology.

The QS World Rankings 2023 is an annual publication of university rankings and is among the most widely read university rankings in the world.
