Zoroastrianism Summer School 2024 takes place at SOAS

From 1st to 5th July 2024, we welcomed 19 students from 14 nationalities at SOAS University of London for the occasion of the Zoroastrianism Summer School 2024. Jointly organised by the Shapoorji Pallonji Institute of Zoroastrian Studies and the University of Bergen, this intensive learning experience provided participants with an in-depth insight into Zoroastrianism in modern Iran.

The Zoroastrianism Summer School was convened by Dr Mariano Errichiello (SOAS) and Prof Michael Stausberg (Bergen), who delivered a combination of lectures, seminars and interactive workshops with Dr Sarah Stewart (SOAS) and Dr Jenny Rose (Claremont). The programme included an excursion at the British Museum led by Dr Yousef Moradi and Dr Vesta Curtis.
