Dr Oliver Schilke

Oliver Schilke is an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona. He previously received a PhD in Sociology from UCLA and was a Research Fellow at Stanford University’s Department of Sociology. Oliver Schilke’s research focuses on organizational trust, capabilities, and legitimacy. He studies these phenomena in contexts such as interorganizational relationships, entrepreneurship, and strategic decision-making. His research has been published in top academic journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, American Sociological Review, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Oliver has won multiple awards for his research and teaching, including a Citation of Excellence Award from the Emerald Group, several Best Paper Awards from the Academy of Management, and a Choice Award for Outstanding Faculty from the Eller College Dean’s Council. Oliver is currently a Guest Editor for Organization Science and serves on the editorial boards of four other academic journals.
