Biography
Taylor Daniel Rockhill is a PhD Student in Development Studies at SOAS University of London.
Taylor’s main areas of interest are the expansion of the digital economy into Nigeria, and the economic impacts, particularly on wages. He takes particular note of ownership of digital intellectual property, and the impacts of digital IP monopolies on global development through a Marxist lens.
He is also fluent in the R and Python coding languages, and an advocate and contributor to the open-source movement as a means of encouraging people to reclaim their digital space and the digital commons. He is a specialist in computational statistics and quantitative methodology.
