"Before commencing his graduate studies, Tsering worked as a field representative for the Buddhist Digital Resource Centre (BDRC). His current research focuses on the use of pragmatics in Old Tibetan, as well as the language and culture of Tibet in general and the Amdo region in particular. He also translates both scholarly and non-scholarly works from English into Tibetan."
