h
y
Dr. Yaser Alashqar is Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at Independent College Dublin in Ireland. His teaching and research focus on law and dispute resolution, including mediation, negotiation, international arbitration and conflict analysis.
He is also a visiting professor at University College Dublin and an academic member of the Centre for Palestine Studies at SOAS, the University of London. He has a strong academic involvement in Israeli-Palestinian issues and is currently writing a book about Gaza- covering critical events and contemporary developments (2018-2025).
He completed his PhD at Trinity College, the University of Dublin in Ireland, Dr. Alashqar is an experienced academic and he has delivered a wide range of academic programmes in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He is also working on training and educational projects with government institutions and international organizations.
