Yasmin Houamed is a research assistant on the Digitalising Food Assistance project, where she leads on the Birmingham case study. 

She holds an MA in Anthropology of Food from SOAS University of London and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University. Previously, her research focused on the political economy of food systems in Tunisia.
