Endangered Voices

Exploring the themes of language endangerment

Endangered Voices is an exhibition exploring the themes of language endangerment. The installation features 7 boards traversing issues and instances of Language and Culture, Languages in Competition, Language and Literacy, Language and Technology, Language Revitalisation (Revitalization) and Language Documentation.

Endangered Voices is co-exhibited with Hearing Voices , a gallery installation by sound artist John Wynne addressing issues of portraiture, identity and technology in a cross-cultural context.
