Music from India collection: British Library Archival Sound recordings
This is part of the Archival Sound recordings collection from the British Library. It contains a small collection of online sound recordings of Indian traditional and ritual music and songs recorded by the recordist and ethnomusicologist, Rolf Killius, as part of a collaborative project with The British Library and the Horniman Museum. They include Sora Ancester ballads and marriage songs. The materials would be of value for researchers in the field of Anthropology of ritual and ethnomusicology.
