SOAS GREAT Scholarships -Turkey, Indonesia, Kenya (2025 Entry)

GREAT Scholarships 2025, launched by the British Council's Study UK campaign together with a number of other UK universities, supports students from 18 countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The Study UK campaign is offering scholarships from 71 UK universities to students across 18 countries around the world. It offers an exciting opportunity for students from these countries to get financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. The scholarship programme offers awards of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for an award, applicants must:

• Be a passport holder for one of the following countries: Indonesia, Kenya or Turkey 
• Hold an offer for a one-year postgraduate taught course at SOAS University of London

To apply for this scholarship, please complete our online application form separately from your course application. Please note that you must already hold an offer to study at the University in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

Please note that if you are successful and allocated this scholarship, you will be required to pay the CAS deposit of £4,000 as part of the conditions to accept the award. Please note that the CAS deposit is only refundable in a limited set of circumstances. It is important to be mindful of this if you are accepting this scholarship with a conditional offer.
