About this event
Professor Todd H. Hall (Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford & Director of the University of Oxford’s China Centre)
Topic
Wolf warriors, dual circulation, “the East is rising and the West is declining.” How are we to make sense of the international behaviour of the People’s Republic to China? Where does the United States now fit within its world view? How might domestic politics within China be affecting its choices? In this discussion, Professor Todd Hall will offer his perspective on what is motivating Beijing’s approach towards Washington.
