About this event

The complete distribution of exploitation in the US population is derived and its dynamics explored over the last six decades.

It is shown that, in line with intuition, exploitation status correlates with a number of variables, -- including asset ownership, gender, and ethnicity, -- and that exploitative relations in the US have significantly worsened over the last four decades.

Roberto Veneziani presents his paper which develops a comprehensive theoretical and empirical analysis of exploitation.

This Seminar is part of the SOAS Economics Seminar Series - Autumn Term 2024.
