Grupo Lokito create a modern-day cocktail of two of the great musical traditions, fusing blistering contemporary Congolese grooves with the fire of Cuban music. Since forming in 2006, they have toured the UK extensively, performing to thousands at WOMAD, African Oyé, and the EFG London Jazz Festival. The melodious vocals of Congolese front men Iddo Donnatella and Kas Kasongo blend with soaring guitars, Latin keyboards and a roaring rhythm section of congas, bass and drums; wowing audiences and filling dance floors wherever they play. This family-friendly concert is part of Bloomsbury Festival 2024
