Touki’s sound infuses East and West African styles and traditions with Appalachian banjo, folk motifs, and orchestral arrangements.
Expect a night of multi-instrumental music in which the performers joyously switch between kora, banjo, guitar, fiddle, cello and percussion…deploying powerful beats, driving grooves and silky voices that leap from East to West Africa and across to America.
