About this event
To mark Women's History Month 2024, SOAS Library’s Special Collections will be opening its doors to all SOAS students and staff for a chance to view a display of material celebrating the contributions of women through history, drawn from our unique collection of archives, manuscripts and rare books.
Featuring a selection of letters, memoirs, photographs, campaign materials, artworks, and oral histories by and about a diverse array of women, from political activists to writers, journalists to mission workers, and SOAS staff and students. Our archivists and curators will be available throughout the day to answer your questions and guide you through how to use the catalogues and access the materials for your own research or publications.
Everyone is welcome.
