Biography
Farah holds the position of a doctoral researcher within the Department of Politics and International Studies, where she conducts her research under the CHASE AHRC studentship.
Employing a methodological framework informed by decolonial and post-colonial perspectives, Farah's doctoral research seamlessly integrates source materials in Arabic, French, and English. Her doctoral research project, spanning the period from 1954 to 1967, delves into the intricate dynamics of Egyptian-Algerian solidarity and tension across three distinct empirical domains: cultural, military, and diplomatic interactions. Farah earned her MSc in Empires, Colonialism, and Globalisation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Prior to that, she pursued her undergraduate studies, achieving a BA in Middle East Politics and a BBA in Marketing at the American University in Cairo (AUC).
