Biography
Feifei Zhan is a PhD student in the Centre of Cultural, Literary and Postcolonial Studies at SOAS. Her current research focuses on women's biological pain and mother-daughter relationships in Chinese literature between 1990-2015. Before she started her PhD, Feifei completed her master's degrees in comparative literature at King's College London with distinction, and in translation and interpreting at Newcastle University. As well as having researching and teaching responsibilities, she has been a practiced translator and conference interpreter for institutions across a wide range of industries.
