Biography
Rana Osman is a final-year PhD student in the School of Law at SOAS University of London.
Her research interests are theories of justice, MENA social movements and societal cognition, authoritarianism and religious institutions, law and the emergence of civil normativity, Islamic legal theory, and political philosophy. Her dissertation studies social movements and the ethical conception of “justice” within religious discourse following contemporary uprisings.
