Stuart MacDonald, FRSA

A former Senior Policy Adviser to Governments, and founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Cultural Relations, University of Edinburgh, Stuart specialises in transnational influence, bridging public policy, academia, practice, and business. Stuart is Adjunct Professor at Vesalius College and Senior Fellow at the Global Governance Institute, both of the Free University, Brussels, and a Board Member of the Academy of Sport at the University of Edinburgh. He contributes regularly to research, events and publications on cultural and foreign policy, and leads his own consultancy, SYM Consulting which offers services in influence, culture and international relations in the digital age.
