Biography
Veli holds a B.A. in Philosophy (King’s College, London), an MSc. in Global Politics (LSE), and a PhD (SOAS), and has worked as a political correspondent and editor in different media companies in Europe.
Research interests
His expertise and research interests include: the political economy of developing countries; politics of development; nationalism and ethnic politics; social change and social theory; development economics; and social, economic and political history of Turkey and the Middle East.
