Dr. Wen-Chi Li

Dr. Wen-Chi Li is a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Mobility Fellow at the University of Oxford.

He received a PhD in Sinology from the University of Zurich in 2022 and was Susan Manning Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Edinburgh. A translator of Taiwanese literature, Dr Li won first prize in the 2018 John Dryden Translation Competition. He coedited Taiwanese Literature as World Literature and the Mandarin poetry anthology Under the Same Roof: A Poetry Anthology for LGBT. He also co-founded the “World Literature from Taiwan” series in the Balestier Pres.
