• Association of Social Anthropologists of the UK and Commonwealth [ASA]
  The ASA promotes the study, teaching and research of social anthropology. It collates and publishes information on social anthropology and functions as a register of anthropologists.
• Royal Anthropological Institute [RAI]
  The Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland is the world's longest-established scholarly association dedicated to the furtherance of anthropology
• The British Sociological Association
  The British Sociological Association promotes sociology, supports sociologists, and is the public face of sociology in Britain.
• International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES)
  The largest world forum of anthropologists and ethnologists, with members from more than fifty countries. The scientific work of the IUAES is carried out by its Commissions, which focus on particular topics of specialized interest.
• American Anthropological Association [AAA]
