The Global Malaysia Film Festival is screaming this heartwarming classic Yasmin Ahmad film follows the lives of students preparing for an inter-school talent competition in Ipoh.
The screening will be accompanied by an introduction from film critic Kalash Nanda Kumar.
About the speaker
Kalash Nanda Kumar is a critic and journalist from Malaysia. In 2022, he became the first Malaysian member of FIPRESCI and was recently selected as an international voter for the Golden Globe Awards. Kalash has also participated in various international and regional film festivals, serving as juror, programmer, and facilitator.
